This book brings a little bit of escape from real-world stressors while also portraying life as experienced by some. It is an emotional roller coaster that causes your stomach to flip and flop. In the end, DS leaves you with a warm feeling that defines the ending of most of her books. No doubt, this book does present some moral dilemas, not all of which are resolved at the end. In fact, while I thoroughly enjoyed the book from start to finish, in the end, I grappled with the moral quagmire.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. You understand the strong people who live through trails and tribulations & how they are able to work through it. Unfortunately so many people do not have that inner strength. Through God's help & love you are able to overcome it. Fantastic!
Sometimes, I get annoyed at the lengthy pages of information she delves into in a lot of her books,, but THIS book was a page turner!!! Maybe a tad anti-climactic, for mr, but a superb read!!
This is a wonderful story full of family love & the tragedies that life sometimes hands us. After a tragic car accident tears apart 4 families, this story delves into what each family must do to pick up the pieces and keep lives moving forward. It keeps you laughing, crying, then laughing again until the last page. So pick up s copy & enjoy...
I did not want this one to end! I found myself getting so vested in the characters. Sadly these sort of situations happen everyday in the world and we as humans have to deal with the consequences of other's actions. The heroine of this book is definitely the mother of the critically injured female. It is amazing what the human spirit can endure. Danielle Steele did a fabulous job of conveying emotion and at times situations where I found myself saying "I can't believe the character reacted in this way". Overall one of my favorite DS books.
Tradgic accident with 1 teenager dead. 1 legs crushed, 1 in coma. We get endless ICU, hospital scenes. We get super Saint Mom. Author has too much money to not realize it should have followed the normal. Lawyers would step in to go after wife of Senator who had repeat DUI episodes. No never even thought of. Really? How boring feelings of average? Saint Mom? Not realistic. Boring...
