My favorite zombie novel is World War Z, what I like about it is that the main characters are so alive, so realistic, that you realize they're more than zombie-fodder. Well, The Twice Dead is of that same quality. There's Pam, the bleeding-heart liberal who thinks it's a waste of money for rich people to have their bodies frozen in a cryo lab, there's Dr. Klein; the scientist that's willing to ignore the law in the name of science, and there's everybody else, real people dealing with unimaginable circumstances. I liked it! Even when you don't agree with some of the characters, you can still understand where they're coming from and why they do what they do. The writing here is impeccable, great books make you forget you're reading a book, they make you live the story. I'm very glad I bought this. Highly recommend.
